US-Sängerin Pink: „Ich habe noch nie in meinem Leben mehr gebetet“

Die US-Sängerin Pink und ihr dreijähriger Sohn infizierten sich beide mit dem Coronavirus, wie die 40-Jährige via Instagram-Post mitteilte.  Insbesondere ihr Sohn Jameson erkrankte stark. Pink machte sich große Sorgen um ihren Sohn. Dabei erfuhr sie Halt durch die tragende Kraft des Gebets.

Wie das US-Magazin People mitteilte, sagte die zweifache Mutter:

„Es gab viele Nächte, in denen ich geweint habe.“

Weiter bekannte Pink:

„Und ich habe noch nie in meinem Leben mehr gebetet.“

Mittlerweile seien sie und ihr Sohn negativ auf das Virus getestet, schrieb Pink auf Instagram. Zudem bedankte sie sich für den unermüdliche Einsatz der Pflegekräfte und Ärzte in dieser Zeit.

Bereits vor sieben Jahren erklärte der Welt-Star im Interview mit dem britischen ‚Star‘-Magazin, dass der Glaube ein wichtiger Aspekt in ihrem Leben ist, auch wenn sie sich mit der organisierten Religion schwer tue. Dazu sagte Pink damals u.a.:

„Ich bin ein sehr spiritueller Mensch. Das ist die Babydecke meines Lebens.“

Two weeks ago my three-year old son, Jameson, and I are were showing symptoms of COVID-19. Fortunately, our primary care physician had access to tests and I tested positive. My family was already sheltering at home and we continued to do so for the last two weeks following the instruction of our doctor.
